If your going to play games I recommend to either wait for amd to release
next cpu or get a E8400 (dualcore 3.0gHz).

Tho i7 is very powerfull but still quad isn't so used.

You must be young Smile A long time ago when hyperthreading was a choice, it sort of kind of doubled your cores :3

Thus making 4 cores + hyperthreading = 8 (hypothetical? is that a good word to use? ) cores.

4 cores + hypertheading=4 cores+ hyperthreading
It has only 4 physical cores

Thanks, I just made a forum where all can put up suggestions to the forum.
So I screw the idea of the guestbook.
http://humperstudios.powernapkin.net/forum/
Guestbook:
http://humperstudios.powernapkin.net/guestbook.html

Also Im going to add a selection where you can request a computer build.
Like:
"I want a 700$ computer for web and games."

But I got so little time, I will also get some mods there.

The Core 2 for desktop was build was based on the successful mobile Core Duo, The i7 build is started on the server side and goes down the line from there.

So for servers you won't except gaming as a main priority.

Nope, it's still 4 cores. There's 8 threads.
