Cheat Engine

I am hacking this game I know how to and everything but I am havin some troubles when it changes the level

this is what I do

1. I start the first match (im lookin for infinity jumps)
2. I search 0 Long / 4 Byte
3. I Jump then pause type in 1 on the sub / next scan
4. I do this till I get to 1 - 3 address I free it to 0 and I can double jump all day. But when I defeat him and change levels the address resets???

I probly didn't do it right but I did the pointer thing and then froze it but it still failed me is there something im not doing right???
