I've heard that filling all of your RAM slots is bad, so i'm wondering if that is true or not.

Of course its not bad, they dont make them for them to be empty..

If you need to upgrade your memory, don't hesitate to use all the spots, there should be no averse affects to it. However if you just want to fill them to say you've filled them and have a ridiculous amount of RAM for no reason, meh.

Filling them all will result in a slight increase in power consumption, not much at all. The bad part is you might have to loosen your timings a bit, not a big deal as you'll never notice it anyway.

4x 1gb RAM sticks here at 4-4-4-12, all my slots are full :3
