If you are looking for something to key protect your program, RANDOM is not a valid word. The key must be derived from a mathematical equation or else you cannot read it again. Either that or your program has a set number of valid keys, but that would be stupid.
slov, I wouldn't trust crand as far as I could throw it (which isn't far at all since it isn't a physical object).
