OK guys i opened disc 1 of the sims 2 and i got an error while it was installing at 0% heres an image i have opened the installer for 15 mins and its not moving at all then there wil be an error pop up.

"Cannot Copy File TSData\Res\Sims3D\Sims08.package"

Click Retry or Cancel..

Please help me....

OK guys i just discovered something... My Sims08 file is messed up. i tried extracting it by it self but it always crashes. can any1 tell me where to find another Sims08.package or please upload one for me tnx..

By the way, heres a picture of the error

Check if you have enough space on your computer. Otherwise the disk might be broken..

well i got 25 GB free space and i used this discs b4 and it worked fine...

Weird. I've never had that problem.
I can get it for you though, but give me a few minutes! I'll have to hunt down my discs.

EDIT: I don't think that copying the sims08.package will work. Try uninstalling everything and trying to install again.
Also, try cleaning your disc.

If that doesn't work then let me know.

Try to reinstall the whole thing. Btw, is an expansion? because if it is an
expansion the Sims 2 is required.

I am installing The Sims 2 manually, i putted the disc 1 and it automaticsly autorun then i click next, enter the code then install... Then its not moving it still remains zero after 15 mins or so then it comes with an error something in media.. I tried extracting Sims08.Package but its corrupted it crashes when extracting by it self so i need a new Sims08.package. I tried restarting, Reinstalling, Cleaning My disk but nothing happened..

nope i didnt i used a cd.. all i need is a new Sims08.package

You should try cleaning the disc. Or restart your computer. I've had that happen to me before on a Sims installation.

i cleaned my disc using cotton balls and i tried restarting my PC nothing happened. I mean the sims08.package is corrputed i tried extracting it by it self nothing happened

dammit when i torrent i go like 80kb/s
