well im setting up a website with wamp (for testing, ill buy the domain after im done) and i portforwarded, edited all my configuration files to my IP and to the SQL databases i made for my site. i allowed all the ports through my firewall, yet when i go to my IP in IE it does not work. any help?

| Why the hell are you using IE?? Use FireFox or Opera and try going to your IP again.

It won't work.
You can't go to your own (external) IP.
Test it from another computer, or test using 127.0.0.1

i used to have a site with wamp, it worked before....
also 127.0.0.1 dosnt work eaither....

Maybe you forgot to put Wamp Server online?
Right click icon in the tray and click "Put Online."

Open up the WAMP control panel, take a screenshot.
if: localhost does not work...
*Its not on
if: IP does not work
*Firewall is not working
*Fail2Portward
*Refer to first thing

| Last time I had my vamp up, writing 127.0.0.1 in the browser didn't work. Typing in "localhost" though, did work.

free webs is TERRIBLE! It allows no PHP scripting at all... atleast last time when i used it!

Indeed it doesn't allow php scripting but there are ways to get around that it's still easy and nice to use...
