Is there a way to uninstall Internet Explorer? It takes up alot of space on my computer, and when I downloaded IE8, it goes so bad that I can't even close a window without having to use Task Manager.

| Don't uninstall it. If your other browser fucks up you're pretty much SCREWED!

To get some space back, reduce the amount of reserved hard drive space from your recycle bin and system restore.
The recycle bin eats up 10% of your hard disk and system restore eats up 12%
For Vista it's 15% for system restore and the recycle bin... it depends on your hard drive so with a 160GB hard drive, recycle bin eats up 9.6GB!
If you still want to uninstall IE, you will need to access windows components located in add/remove programs.

I have 5 web browsers (no srysly).
And, I cleared all the system restore and everything with tune up utilities 2008. The main reason I want to uninstall is because I got ie8 2 days ago, and it SUCKS. I want to go back to ie7 at least, and I did not find it in add or remove programs.

all those 5 web browsers use IE for its resources if you get rid of IE you wont be able to do anything on your computer except play solitaire. Just delete all your junk web browsers and keep mozilla
