Well, I have recently thought of buying every next-gen console (I already have a PS3 <3<3). The Wii would upgrade my gamecube, and the Xbox would just be more games. Now, after looking at pricings and such, i decided that the Xbox 360 Arcade package isn't as cheap as a Wii. Now you may say "HEY BUT $200 is LESS THAN $250" Now, that may be true right off the bat, but lets analyze this for a second.

Xbox 360 Arcade - It includes a wireless controller, 256 MB memory unit, composite AV cable, HDMI 1.2 output, and 5 Xbox Live Arcade titles:[19] Boom Boom Rocket, Feeding Frenzy, Luxor 2, Pac-Man Championship Edition, and Uno

Wii - It includes a Wii, a controller w/ nunchuk, an AV cable, and Wii Sports.

Now, let see, the 360 DOESN'T come witha harddrive, so you have to go spend $90 for that. Then you would have to buy games, controllers, etc. The Wii controllers and games are usually cheaper. Not to mention Xbox Live GOLD

Now, I have a PS3 and hate the Wii. But I've seen people saying "Oh, its so cheap" and stuff like that. The 360 Arcade bundle IS NOT cheap. At least in the long run.

So really the arcad cost 246 usd and it seems it has more (games).

Omfg, you don't even care about the answer to this, you just want to brag about how the PS3 is so great. You know what? That piece of shit is only good in the specs area. There are barely any games that are extraordinary Coming/came out that are exclusive to the PS3. The Xbox 360 is ranked the best because it doesn't take 50 minutes to find an online game with friends. It takes less than 30 seconds.

Don't you even compare the 360 and the Wii, because they can't be compared. They are two different types of software.

If you really want a true gaming experience, pick up a Xbox 360 Elite with some accessories if necessary.

If you are so fucking up tight with your goddamn money, stick with your crappy machine that you worship oh so much. Xbox 360 vs. PS3? Xbox 360 FTW.

I doubt i can say "promising" game, if you want quality games, with popular game titles i would go with the 360.

Lol, it doesn't take 50 minutes to find a game with friends. Actually, it takes less than a minute. The only reason people say XBOX LIVE = BETTER THAN PSN is because the 360 was out for a WHOLE YEAR before the PS3 and Wii came out. You can't say shit unless they took down Xbox Live and play your 360 for one year, then well see who has the better Network.
