what cpu exactly do you have?
Do you have a dual core or a Pentum 4?
Only Pentium 4 have hyperthreading and dual cores does not.
Pentium 4 has one core enable HT and you get a virtual core.
Dual core itself already has 2 physical cores.
Enabling it back is done in 2 ways.
Go to bios and enable HT or your 2nd core.
The other is to edit the boot.ini file for your xp boot loader.
At the end of the string erase the "/numproc=1" command.
Your link does not work.

| I don't think you can re-enable a core after you disabled it. Also why on earth would you even disable a core just to use moon light.

Damn you fools, first of all you can renable them/it.
Second please use the seach buttom instead, next time.
| Code: | If you would like to revert your computer to the way it was before and get all your core(s) back this is what you do.
Now, to convert back to a dual core/quad (whatever you had before) this is what you do.
1. First, right click on my computer (located in the start menu)
2. Click properties and a window should pop up.
3. Click the Hardware tab and than click the "Device Manager" button.
4. Click the little plus button next to "Computer" and right click on the processor type that pops up.
5. Next, click Properties and than a new window should pop up.
6. Click on the "Driver" tab and than click Roll Back Driver.
7. Click Okay, (or whatever that pops up) and it'll ask you to restart your computer.
8. After you restart your computer. your comp should be restored to the previous state. Very Happy |
Regards Humper

I lol'd
But system restore is easy. Push F8 at startup then goto system restore. Then you can choose to load from a restored point.
