i was trying to hack a game and failed and now when ever i try to close out my internet (internet explorer) it stops responding and takes forever

Restart comp

If that doesn't work then click control alt delete and go to processes and close iexplorer.exe

Or get a new browser

That seems like typical behavior of Internet Explorer.
I highly recommend that you make the upgrade to FireFox.

this happens to me too, and it just started in ie8.

1.Start - Run - regedit

2.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\BrowserHelper Objects

3.If you get there, you will see few keys(look like folders) that are in numbers and alphabets.
Delete all of them.

I never recommend using IE.

Go for Firefox or Opera.
