How fast is YOUR Internet? Post code from speedtest.net and give us your fastest result! Make sure you test from your closest city. Do not just provide text or hypo speeds. We want real proof!

You can only get a rough idea with any web-based speedtest... the best way is to utilize some multi-threaded downloading (usenet, accelerated-downloading/direct-to bt (in uk) etc... anyway, this is what mine threw up:
I'm on ADSL (thats broadband over your phone line for those that don't know) and I sync with the exchange at 8128. Minus overheads at the ATM layer thats about 12.5% less for my actual theoretical max throughput. About 7120Kbps. It leaves me with about what you see in the pic... 6.5meg usually, which is awesome for the package i'm on. So if you're in the UK and can only get a standard ADSL-Max connection, I recommend Enta

| Yep, entanet rock. You've probably got some other factor affecting you're speed. Most likely just plain line-length or quality that is the issue. Excessive noise on the line... and so on. I can assure you its not their problem

I'm going get it soon I'm only on 2mb atm and it drives me mad sometimes, I do a lot of torrenting
