Well, I was looking at dedicated server pricing and it said that i can have 6 IPs for my dedicated server....

I always understood that each computer/server was assigned a SINGLE ip address when they connected to the internet.

How can dedicated servers have 6, 18, and up to 254?!

Also, if i can have multiple IPs on one server, does that mean i can have... Apache running on port 80 on one IP address and Nginx running on port 80 on a completely different IP?
