There has been this new msn virus that hijacks your password and send your friends the virus.

My brother downloaded from someone and told me he did a system restore, lying bastard

A friend will tell you to download a rar you download you click the exe it does nothing you ignore it

day 2
you randomly get logged out

day3
you get logged out and your friends ask you what picture of um are you going to put on facebook? thats because it attacked all open windows and told your friends

day4
it starts sending your friends the virus in a .rar form

To get rid of it do a system restore/
start>all programs>accessorizes>system tools> system restore

nothing new, it's botnets that spread through msn
sometimes it's like "hey check my pics" then a .rar
sometimes www.randomurl.youremailhere.com
if you ran one you're comp is probably being used by companies to send spam mail now. Enjoy your botnet.

also system restore won't get rid of it...

I would suggest that everyone keep an antivirus, firewall and anti-spyware application running and up-to-date to avoid this sort of thing in the first place. Then you're not struggling to clean it off and try and figure out why it happened.

Avira Antivirus, Comodo Firewall Pro and Spybot S&D is a powerful combination that is completely free. And will at least 'get you by'.
