ok so i just bought a linksys router and i only have a laptop (one laptop no computers) . I want to go wireless but it says you need to connect one blue wire to computer other to wireless so how am i supose to go other places in my house if i have a wire connected?

My question is does have to be connected?

no it shouldn't have to be connected to a pc, my router at home still works for laptop without the pc being connected

k i fixed it b4 you guys answered yeah it doesnt have to be connected. Stupid setup said connect to computer. x] so i connected one end to router other to modem
