So, YEAH, something is seriously annoying with my computer, and I actually didn't notice the computer talk forum before now. DX

Anyways: Everytime I am starting up my computer.. Every single time, I have to unplugg all USB's that is currently connected to a freaking device. Yeah, that is right, every single time. So I like, have to get on the floor, behind the computer, and unplugg it, wait for the loggin screen and then plugg it in. A friend from my brother was trying to fix it, but did not succeed.

Any help please? Request information if needed to help me. Because this is annoying... Dx

The best way to do this is by doing the process of elimination.
First unplug all of your USB devices and start up the system. If you got in successfully, then shut it down.

Unplug that USB derice and plug in another USB device and turn your system back on, if the device you plugged in did not cause any unsuccessful logins then this USB device is not the culprit. Shutdown your machine and plug in another USB device.

Repeat the cycle until you get to the same situation.

e.g. You got 6 USB devices
Scanner, Printer, Camera, iPod, USB wireless adapter, USB external HDD.
Every USB devices plugged works fine until you plugged in the Camera.

The culprit would either be your camera is faulty or the USB cable.

Also if you got devices attached to a USB hub, remove the hub and plug your devices directly to USB ports behind your machine and see what happens.

Uninstall all the software that is associated with those USB devices.

Then do what kls85 said.

Then each time you plug 1 device in, your computer will ask if you want to install the necessary software; do it.

Should work after all that. GL

install devices such as mouse & keyboard
some things, such as an iPod dock, do not have software to autodetect if it was left plugged in

WTF are you talking about this is the only correct answer?
All he gave was a vague description about his USB devices and
even though it's plugged in, the USB device will not alter the BIOS boot sequence. A USB device will get stuck during POST if the USB device requires additional power where the USB port itself is too weak to provide it.

Plug in a USB flash drive during post and the machine boots up fine.
Plug in a USB external HDD without its additional power adapter and systems gets stuck at POST.

YES! That is what the friend of my brother did.

I have done all of the other stuff suggested WAY before this was tried.

But yet, it won't work. D; I might try it again, maybe he didn't save...(IF so, he is a .. Very silly person.)

Only thing i seen this happen on is an ipod. If you have it plugged to the base your pc wont boot until you remove it from the base.
