Q6600: 65nm, 1066FSB, 2.4GHz, 8MB L2, EMT64, VanderPool, NX Disable Bit, EIST
Q8200: 45nm, 1333FSB, 2.33GHz, 4MB L2, EMT64, NX Disable Bit, EIST, High-K Gate, Deep and Deeper Sleep State (C3E and C4E)
The Q8200 are entry level quads, thus the lack of VanderPool technology
and a half size L2 cache.

Vanderpool is the code name for Intel's virtualization technology.
AMD calls their Pacifica.

So it's better to buy the Q6600 now before they get replaced?

No, the Q8200 is better, it's replacing the Q6600.
