I never really got what offsets do, or what i should change them to when i am adding pointers. Halp plox.

Think about this.

baseaddress+offset.
Lets say our base is 0x004CA5D1, and the offset of our Money is 0xA.
0x004CA5D1 + 0xA = 0x004CA5DB. And therefore, 0x004CA5DB is the address where our money is.
The offset basically indicates the distance from the base address, it's like a relative address.
