Well, the best FreeWare atleast is probably GIMP I think, but I prefer paint.net SO much more. It's so simple, and I am sort of a dumb person. :/ So I can atleast get what is going on on paint.net.
(But it might lag very bad sometimes, I don't know.)

Photoshop CS4, from what's I've seen, is better IMO. GIMP is best freeware.

Using MSpaint can be rather hard too, you know.
Depends on what you're trying to achieve.
I doubt that any of these photoshop fags know how to make decent oldschool pixel art.

That's what I mean, all the stuff in his work can be done in MSPaint, thus Im wondering why he needs CS3/4.
Also best pixel art I have seen in awhile is;
16 colors. |

That 16 color pixel art picture is TONS better then this guy's best photoshop scripted tool created image. |
Well can paint do 3D Images?

That's the whole deal. WE can do it, paint can't.
Basicly photoshop does everything for you, you do NOTHING.
When making 3d pixel art (as in the example), YOU do everything, pain only provides basic code conversion.

you can't do 3d art in photoshop. That's meant for 3d modeling software.

He probably means that you can put in 3d models, and twist it as you please to make it fit your picture, without actually having to learn which angle to start with.

In my experience CS2 is the best.
(I have CS3 and havn't tried CS4)
