I've been really look for a nice motherboard and I know SLI is the next big thing so I went to SLI seeing how it's like AMAZING. Anyways I found some nice motherboards but as you can see Nvidia does not really make the products well they do but they send them to other companies like BFG, XFX, EVGA, and ETC. I was looking at the motherboard

790i Ultra SLI READY

This board really looks nice and rumors on it is that it's very stable and can handle being overclocked to shit anyways. A few companies release this board but I've notice their not intirely the same so my question is, is that out of 2 companies XFX and EVGA which one is one of the better makes from one of those companies.

This is really big question to me because I'm a big fan of SLI ever sense I've got a 50% SLI build on my PC Razz

and hope to upgrade it even further with a 790i. Thanks.

I'm stuck between XFX and EVGA 780i SLI.
To be honest i prefer XFX but Australia doesn't have much of them so I'm going for EVGA 780i FTW

The reference boards are designed by Nvidia, and then it gets send out to those makers where they sprinkle their own special pixie dust.

If you look at the boards from XFX and EVGA it's exactly the save except for a different name.

Seriously SLI, CrossFire is a marketing hype. Dual card is only as good if the game is supported and you need a large screen monitor to take advantage of it. Running at low resolution is a complete waste.

If you want stability go with an Intel chipset such as the Intel P45.

And I believe the 790i Ultra uses DDR3.
