What are some cons on iPhones? I'm still kind of undecided on whether to get an iPhone.

I personally dislike the iPhone. It's packed with things I won't ever need and it cost too much (originally). I still think it costs too much. It's quite confusing during first use and has some very bad (manditory) features. Honestly, most people only get it for aesthetics and the fact that it has everything, no matter how annoying and imperative that "everything" may be.

The quality is better than most though. But yes, can't record videos, I mean honestly Apple, pack all that shit in it but no video. It's shameful Rolling Eyes

Too expensive, and the provider you're stuck with for 2 years is even more expensive.

Too much random shit nobody needs to make a call, not enough basic features you actually need.

Faulty batteries that will end up costing you twice as much as the phone during it's useful life, but don't forget the battery isn't removable, so factor in a week without your phone, shipping costs, and paying out the ass for the battery. Get used to doing this every few months.

Locked onto a shitty provider. Of course you can jailbreak it, that is until those commies at apple remotely brick your phone.

DRM up the ass, and Apple has way too much control over the phone. If you install a 3rd party app they don't like, they can and will remotely delete it off your phone. Sadly I'm not joking.

The browser doesn't support Flash properly, making it almost useless.

You know how nearly every phone made in the past few years can record video? The $400 iPhone can't.

It's made by Apple, so you can be assured it will break prematurely, most likely just after the warranty ended.

You can't set any of your songs as ringtones.

If you use Linux or a 64-bit Windows OS, good luck even activating your phone.

No contacts search. Yep, they left out something that basic.

I could go on all day. Just don't fucking buy it.

all of what cheetah said and the bluetooth is useless, you can only use it to connect to headset etc. it can't be used to send files
