i was playing dubloon disaster on neopets, flash game using version 7.0

I managed to identify the value of the score. It was a double. however when i edited the value and submitted on my flash screen, it was the normal score.

Is there anyway i can do it to reflect the edited score in the game and have it submitted?

i don't know, i don't play neopats. But a flash game probably isn't server sided and if im right, someone already hackt 3/4 of the neopat games..

So i think its possible, just post some pictures of important moments, because im too lazy to create a account on the game and find out how it works so i can play the sub-game.

did you try to see if there is any pointers to this address flash games normally dont use them but just maybe this could be different

are you sure it is a double i tried and i get a few addresses but non of them are my score because when i add them to the ct it doesnt go up after i get another coin.

Ok to be more specific,

I actually used CE with a couple of the flash games.
I was able to find the values for gold (points). However when i edited them, and then submited my score there was no change. with my limited knowledge, i used the (find out what writes to this address) function. there were a couple of addresses (2-3), but i dont know what to do with them.

Btw,can flash games be server sided??, i tot they are downloaded into temp folder, thereafter what results you get are submitteD?

ok , i played around abit further, and every game with a score based system gave the same problem, i can edit the values which are usually double or float, but they dont reflect when i submit my scores to the server.

i only found 1 game to be hackable, and thats because the score value is under the "text" so when the game ends i modify that and submit my score.
Problem for that though, is i can only modify to value of the same char length.if i itry to change the value and the char type as well, it will just hang the game.

i'm quite lost, any help would be really good Very Happy

Neopets kinda employs a script with the submission of scores. Flash in a flash. The score is a flash in the flash game, I think, one that loads only when you load the game.

You can't change the scores, but you can change the number of lives, time limit, etc. to get better scores.

I did that, however when you submit the score you will also get an error.

marigold wat ur talking about is the "face value" when you change the face value it doesn't change the value of the server. what you need is the pointer and the hex. i'll do some experiment with and see what i can do.

you can however cheat in food bowl XD I tried it and get a perfect score always but strange enough, the topnotcher of the game is always 500 pts ahead of me.. hmmm
