So, I asked my gym teacher how to build your abs and he said to eat less sugary and fatty foods and take some protein supplements or just eat eggs instead.

So, I been working out at home with 2, 10kg (22pound) free-weights, doing sit-ups and crunches (<- those are effing hard to do) for 2 months now, and my stomach seems to have gotten smaller (it levels with my chest).

Problem is, NO ABS - its just flat and it looks like a chick's stomach.

I got no idea how to really sculpt it and get defined abs like some of my friends have. Tell me how you got your abs!!

eat 4000+ calories a day
6 meals of pure protein... Baked Salmon and Chicken breast are your friend!

LOL 4000??? I eat that much in kilojoules... maybe less.

idiot. abs are DIET+cardio. doing crunches will not remove the fat from your belly. also doing mindless crunches is retarded. just like any other muscle group, to build muscles you need to do lower reps. and also once again another misconception is that abs = crunches. its really about cardio and diet. so do weights+ incline crunches. and cardio and watch what you eat.

no, 6 meals a day is for healthy people. smaller portions, this keeps your blood sugar even.

I had abs since the middle of 3rd grade, (I am 9th now), and I kept it that way by eating eggs,tuna,corn beef,vienna sausage,hot dogs,bacon,fried chicken,BBQ, but all with rice and evenly. Like say I eat bacon and rice for breakfast, then in lunch I eat a snack like vienna sausage without rice, then for dinner I eat heavily.

The secret is what I call Power Dieting, its like fasting but with rice, all day just eat rice, then next day eat heavily, never do crunches for abs, they do not help.

Just do the routine, do sports,running,jogging, break-dance(learn how to do back flip off something then keep doing it, it will help your stomach.) and also when doing those things do it heavily.

Limit the sugary and start eating things that have high protein like chicken,
fish and salamon. Note: Do not eat peanut butter it has alot of glucose in
it. (sugar.) And train i guess, but you should also walk about 30-60mins.

Having abs does is not like magic and happens over night. It takes time and patience. You do know that not all girls like men with abs, some like them chubby cause to them it's like hugging a teddy bear. Shocked

Sorry, but I disagree. Lol! Girls like a fit man, in my opinion. Not meaning they need to pull out 6 Packs, they just need to fit. Exercise, and such more.

Eat lots of eggs and lots of pasta it gives energy. The run laps o work out well i shouldent be givin advice cuz im not fit.

it may not show, but youll get pretty buff.
i have a body fat percentage of 13, and i look like a fat ass.
but i can bench over 200. (i weigh 165 @ 5'8")
