Anyone in this school? Last year, I was reading the news paper and it said BK Tech is doing poorly now Mid Wood is catching up to it's pace and soon it's grade will pass it too. BK Tech I think now total average grade is ... B which matches up to Murrow High School, for a specialize H.S that is a poor crappy grade. I even heard from students going to that school says it's not so good.

There is no good high school for business in NYC; but I do recommend the following high schools since they specialize in Mathematics:
* Math, Science and Engineering at City College
* Stuyvesant High School (If you're smart enough and willing to make commute)
* Bronx Science

Aww | Quote: | | There is no good high school for business in NYC | why though?? |
Because most business courses are only available in college.
If you really want to be a business major, I suggest working on Math and computer application classes and apply for CUNY Baruch when you're a senior.

Me? I want to be a teacher. I would've went to American Studies at Lehman, but I moved a year before I took the specialized high school test. Now that I moved back, I was completely fucked.

You can't transfer high schools after 9th grade.
Well, do you play sports?

Ahh when I took my SHSAT, I didn't even bother even glancing at the word Stuyvesant High School. The cut off score for Stuyvesant is ridiculously high.

Again, I made the cut of for Stuy; but I moved to another state.
Though, I prefer Long Island schools. Top universities (like Harvard and Cornell) turn their attention to Long Island students first, they seem to have one of the highest GPA's in the United States.

LOL! honestly the NYC speacilized highschool test is bullshit. You can fail your average for ALL of middle school and still get into a good speacilized school. Btw i reccomend something like Hunter highschool, (BY THE WAY ICE}(Dice vac creator) goes to Stuy LOL!), or Townsend harris(Very good) when you apply do this
1. Townsend harris
2.Townssend harris
3.Townssend harris
4.Zoned School
5.Townsend harris
THAT IS if you have a a 90+ usually townsend takes 95 but doing it this way they'll take you. lalal anyway should go to francis lewis and join the junior reserve office training corp looks WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too good on your college application lol. Plus theres a millitary ball too . Anyway i think franny lew is the only one with a JROTC personally i think if your from lewis and have good classes and JROTC you can get into Hardvard/princeton. You should really take a look at the book your guidance counselour gives you(the application code book that looks like a text book with all nyc schools)
and

Um yes there is theres a section of business in the book
By the way IT DEPENDS WHAT PROGRAM YOUR IN IN WHAT SCHOOL. For example: stuys business program owns the med program but bronx sciences med program owns the business program. READ THE BOOK
