How would I go about converting the folders: VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS

which contain file extensions: .vob, .bup, .ifo

into a readable and playable .avi or a viewable format?

Get a video convertor.
Xilisoft Video Convertor is the one i choose but you need to pay or torrent.
