My friend has it on his computer, he wants it off. A site said it was malware, and he can't remember if he installed it or he just got it randomly. It randomly scanned the system and found 783 infections in the system files.
Can you guys help me get this off my friends comp?

Thanks,

~Zaw.

Antivirus XP 2008? LOL. Sounds like bullshit to me.

Malware likes to do shit like that. OMG U HAV 1000 VIRUSES EVERYWHERE CLICK HERE TO GO 2 SITE N FIXXXXXAHHHHH.

Google and download HIJACKTHIS. Run a scan. C+P the scanlog here.

'Fix' the entries marked as shit. Restart the computer and run another.

If he gets an annoying red circle with a white X in his taskbar tell him to get SDFix and ComboFix.

Run SDFix.exe and it'll install its files into his root directory [Commonly C:\].

Boot into safemode and go to %root%:\SDfix\
Run 'Runthis.bat'
Let it do what it must. After restart, boot normally. K.

Run ComboFix. Let it do what it must. It'll restart your computer. Let it finish. I reccomend re-running it after it says its done.
