Intel cost more because it is better...

Also, BestBuy is the worst place to buy a computer... srsly.

Build it! If you have 1.2k to buy a computer, you can buy a quad-core comptuer with a sick graphics card and a nice case!

http://www.newegg.com/ Is where you would buy the parts. They are 100 percent trust able and they also have live chat support if you fear that your money might be stolen.

Tell your parents ( I am assuming you either have them or live with them ) that you want to assemble your own computer. Make them understand that it not only saves you a hefty amount of money, that it is also a good learning experience.

Ask them if they could use their credit card to purchase the parts, and in return you could either pay them off with cash, chores, helping around the house etc...

They probably will understand.

You do not NEED paypal, but you can use it.

NewEgg accepts credit cards.

Your first job is to select the parts you want. That is what you should be concerned with before you are concerned with building the computer. Sort of.

http://computer.howstuffworks.com/build-a-computer.htm

There is a guide on how to build it.

I and other members on this site (slovach Razz) can help you pick out parts.

Are you a hard-core gamer or a casual computer user?
