What are the differences between them? Should I get SP3 or is it a waste of space?

All packaged updates from the previous service packs, additional critical updates after SP2, new critical updates after SP3, a useful feature for IT professionals, and 4 features ported from Vista (no DirectX 10 is not one of them).
