Would a PCI Express x16 Fit my computer I am planning a 8600 and i want to know the differences between GT and GTS for the 8600 Series.
My Comp Spec are:
305 PSU
2gb ram
P4 3.0GHz
80GB HDD
GPU:i915GV

| Well it looks the like mainboard has a PCIe slot and the 8600gt isnt a power hungry card and only requires a molex connector also I measured my 8600GT and its almost exactly 7in.

| Open your case and measure from the expansion bay panel to 7in and see if it fits.

8600gt fits in a dimension 5000, ( i had one and it started with integrated )
if you have ddr 2 ram and a high spec p4 ( which i think you do)
the mb should fit pci-e
