I'm looking for a laptop for ^.

Getting sick of hauling my desktop from mom's house to dad's, and back.

You may want to consider those whitebook notebooks. It's more of a DIY version where you can install regular desktop parts.

Desktop parts are way cheaper than mobile parts don't you know that.
Take a look at the Asus C90.

IF not then...
how about this?
It features a quad core HD processor.

You could go for a Dell XPS. Included in the lowest-price offer ($1099) is 4GB memory, 320GB @ 5400 RPM hard drive, Core 2 Duo T5850 (@ 2.16GHz) processor and a 8600M GT GPU. Not the best out there, but it's an option, sort of. =P
