I have a friend who has 2 OS's installed.
I currently hav 2HDD's.
320GB - Vista
1TB - Soon to be XP

How do i make it when pc starts before any OS boots i have a choice of xp or vista.

you use a boot loader. you can use the default windows one or a custom one, like GRUB. and you can partition one of your hdd's so that xp and vista are both on the same hdd.

by using the windows bootloader, all you need to do is add another line to your boot.ini.

I want it to look like this and only boot 1 OS at a time.

that's using GRUB. gimme 5 minutes and i'll find you a good tutorial for doing it. and you're starting off with vista, and installing xp second, right?

also, it would be easier booting from the same hdd, but it's your choice.

Yes i have Vista and going to install xp 2nd.
Btw s there a way to do it with windows with out grub?
