|
|
Hey guys, I need some help. My mom has found this site where she watches her thai tv all day long. She stays up late at night and early in the morning.
I want to BLOCK that FOCKING site so she can't go on it. I have ways to but, it's kinda obvious. Like, I set a password that she'll need to go on that site. But I want to block it and make it seem like an internet error. Like have it say, " SERVER TOO BUSY". etc... etc....
Any help? |

use the hosts file. it in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc look for a file name "hosts" open it using notepad so you can edit.
step1= know the site you want to block forexample ill use youtube
step2= copy the "127.0.0.1 localhost" and then hit enter which will go to next line then paste.
step3=replace localhost with youtube and save it and you all done.
ps=after youtube you need to add the thing url need
this will work because of the dns thing if people want me to explain let me know. |

1. Admin?
2. Did you unhide them?
And if your mom fucking bought the computer than shut the fuck up. |

Left side. Or tools -> options -> show hidden files (If it's the same?)
leave the 127.0.0.1 localhost and just add a line under it.
On a side note; I like the theme you're using. Could you PM me with info about it? _________________

And you have to make it writable . Right Click->Properties->Untick Read Only
And then edit your hosts file, then tick read only. _________________
