I'm not quite sure what you mean about editor, but for sound editing and converting etc, Audacity is definately my choice, so userfriendly interface and all .. Really good Very Happy Tho, you need to download lame.dll , if you want to convert to .Mp3

I'm mainly using it to cut songs out so I can use them as ringtones and can I get a link to lame.dll?

Sure, yet you just google it and it's there..

I think this is it -> http://www.free-codecs.com/download_soft.php?d=2763&s=22 But I ain't sure ... Don't got Audacity on this PC .. You can check it by trying to convert some file to .mp3 via Audacity, and it tells you the file's missing, then go google it. By the way, Audacity would work perfectly for what you need (:
