Ok so i just made this game a couple of days ago, and i was wondering if someone cud hack it for me. If you can please post a ct/trainer or tut. THanks

hmmmm im not that good but ill try. ive already hacked pinball and other begginner stuff so ill use this as more practice
EDITED: wow what did you do to it? i cant even find the address to your lifes.
i can get the scan once but after the second scan (to narrow it down to one or 2) it gives me nothing.
well ya beet me and i cant even make it through a level to make a level hack.

well nvm the trainer. Can't write a trainer for such a small game hehe,its time consuming. I'll tell you the protection plus how i got the hacks.
Well the exe thats installed in game folder just acts as a loader. So the reason the poster above couldn't find anything. Break on CreateProcessA
at
004016AE |. FF15 2CB04000 CALL DWORD PTR DS:[<&KERNEL32.CreateProc>; \CreateProcessA
and see all the parameters noting the command line. This param is important because it provides the necessary command line for the actual exe to run. The actual exe resides in
G:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Temp\mrt[random].tmp\stdrt.exe . Here's the command line param (note which things it pass).

To prove what i said, run the stdrt.exe first without passing any command line, it closed immediately and then run with above command lines, it run. Ok so all you have to do now is search for stuff through CE.
wait a minute ? cant find lives ? yeah cause the lives lost are calculated a bit differently. Every time you lose a health, the value is incremented. So do an increase value search and you should be able to find it with ease .
I already got health and player co-ords. For health
0040994C - 74 3b - je 00409989
change the je to jmp. For co-ords, i didn't investigate this enough but putting a bp on the address yields these instructions
Code :00420467 - 89 4e 48 - mov [esi+48],ecx
Code :0042046a - 89 46 4c - mov [esi+4c],eax
Code :0042067e - 89 4f 4c - mov [edi+4c],ecx
Code :00420492 - 89 5e 50 - mov [esi+50],ebx
You can filter them getting the important ones and making a nice hack out of this  .
Conclusion: always think out of box  . Nice way to hide it at least for beginners hehe,
PS: i have doubts about the above poster finding it, well if he did, why not he posted the findings ey?, especially this comment makes it so fishy

health wont decrease. I'v only played it for 5min so i'll post some more after i eat.

change the vaule to 4294967295 fills the screen with hearts just like that picture.
change the value to 999 and theres no hearts but it doesnt matter if you die.

With time and practice. lol it was nothing, you just had to debug a bit, once found that the game exe just acts as a loader and the main one lies in temp folder, finding the stuff was easy.

changing the value to -1 gives inf health and has same effect as putting 999.

i wanted to do a no death hack so even if you touch those squares, your character wont reset. But it needed a bit more effort which i didn't wanted to do on this game hehe

I didnt mess around that much with it. just nopped it first which is inf health too.

enable speedhack to 0.4 or something like that. or drink lots of caffeine so everything seems slower just like fry did on futurama!
