I need help. I played around with CE and it seems like I can freeze my life and mana when I'm hosting. I heard CE can also do it when your a joiner, but it doesnt freeze my life when I join. By the way this is D2 open battlenet, not closed. Can anyone help me out.

That is because when you are hosting, you controll all the variables (other players may see your HP/MP jump arround a bit but you dont).
When you are a joiner (in other words you aren't server) you can only freeze your copy, but the server will not ask you for your health (as it has its own copy) and if you take damage it will simply apply it to its copy. That and never expect the same address to work for host & client as the host is going to have more variables to deal with.
