Post any "interesting" Fallout 3 areas here that you find! I'll start off with Oasis and Andale.

Oasis
When you first enter there's a group of old people that will take you through a bunch of trees and a gate (One of the few areas that actually has blooming trees). You will drink a liquid that will make you fall asleep after they tell you about their talking tree God. You will wake up and there will be a tree with a mutated face on it. It is actually a man that was fused with a tree during the fallout and he has been there for almost 200 years. He will repeatedly ask you to kill him. You can either set him on fire or go into a cave filled with Mirelurkers and shoot his heart.

Andale
Andale is a small town with two families and an old man living in it. The old man will tell you that the other two families are cannibals and that you should leave at once. If you go into the family basements you can find mutilated bodies and sacks of "Strange meat". After finding these, if you attempt to leave, the families will stop you. Kill them! The old man will tell you afterward that they've been cannibals for a long time.

Megaton


Vault 101

[M.]

A house near Megaton with a woman living there. I found it after leaving Vault 101. If you talk to her, you can get some caps, i can't remember what exactly you have to say, but I'm sure you'll figure it out.
