How do I cheat?

I want to hack a game, first i find some level pointers and finally, i find the base pointer.
With that pointer i generate a trainer wich freeze the value. I try to use the trainer, and it works(the words at the trainer get red).
The problem happens when i close the game and trainer and i open again. I try to use but the words dont get red more than 1 second. Confused


What's wrong? Why it dont work?

close and reopen the trainer as well
