Method1> First open Control Panel then click on folder option,
then on file types and delete the exe file associate(if there) and then
click on New. After that Name the file Extention EXE and Associated file type should be application!

Note: if error still occors then you have a registry error

<Solved case "My exe files open with notepad!">
