Hi guys,

I have just started to use the CE editor... But still confused. can someone give me a pointer to the correct direction?

OK. here is the question.

I have found the address of the health: e.q. XXXXXXXXX

and i freeze it and changed the value and now: the GUI interface shows the exact amount i freezed but when i was hit by a more powerful monsters i died.

My question is: how do i find the base address?

I have tried some tutorials in Pointers tutorial,. but it leads me to no where.

cozs i found too many addresses. like 2000.
Even if i found only 6 addresses. When i freezed them, they still not working properly.

can someone please guide me .. danke

This has nothing to do with the right adress or not. The problem is, freezing an adress isn't really freezing it. It's just setting it to the right ammount. But if you get hit to much before it gets set again, you'll die.

Or, it's server sided, and you see your health high, but it's actually not.


If it's the first, this will work:
1. Pray that all damage goes trough one method.
2. Once you got the adress, right click it and select "Find out what writes to this adress"
3. A screen pops up. Go get hit a bit (with frozen value, or you might die to soon). In the screen should now be some lines of code. If you're lucky it's only one.
4. One or more of those lines is responsible for decreasing your health. So, select it and click the button "replace with code that does nothin".
5. Do this for everything decreasing your health. To restore it, or turn it on later again, click the advanced button in the left-down corner of CE's main screen.
