It looks bent, but really, all the lines are straight.
That's what an optical illusion is, it's characterized by visually perceived images that differ from objective reality.
This Spinning Dancer appears to move both clockwise and counter-clockwise

If anyone doubts this image can appear to spin either way.
(I've been able to change its direction without this image, it's just easier like this.

btw, the reason why people see it going one way or the other is because of their brain >_>
the image is set to move in both directions at the same time intervals.
Some people see it spinning clockwise or counterclockwise.
(Its because they are left brained or right brained)
Others may see it constantly changing.
(its cuz they are whole brained)
However, anyone who has a set brain prefference (the left, right, whol brain thing) could be able to see something they arnt supposed to be seing if they use diff areas of their brain rather than their normal area ._.

I think all of the above illusions are great, but I personally love the Impossible objects illusions, even though I know how they're done; new ones astound me every time.
So here's what they look like from the right perspective:
And here's what it actually looks like (Sorry if you didn't want to know):

I know. If I focus on the ankle I can shift what direction it appears to be rotating. I just posted that picture for anyone who wanted to see it spin in both directions.
