Not Everything is 100% True and Accurate. Post Your Thoughts On This.
-I heard there's an iPod ban in North America.
-Currently all iPod's MP3 Player's are going to be banned in North America starting July 7th.
-When you are caught with one they will charge you, and take it away from you.
-The cause of this is because of Laws against illegal music downloads.
Try Not To Flame Against Me. Flame Against The Law.
As I Said, The Information Is Not 100% Accurate.

July 7th is my Birthday. :]
But on a less-cheery note : Wtf. Apple have made millions, if not Billions from the iPod series, what could make America want to take them away?

| lol, why would it be banned? And even more importantly, why just iPods and no other mp3-players? I'd say no.

They are being banned in schools, large corporations and possibly parts of New York such as side walks and side walks.
Schools: Banning them to prevent cheating via message (iphone) or answers put on mp3
Large Corperations: The Ipod virus has been ravenging through individual ipods since it has come out. Since the new Ipods have network connection but essentually no secruity they are a major threat to a bussiness workplace. Virus may travel into the network and harm the computers.
New York: Lawmakers are debating this for now. But if passed they will be banned in the street or on the sidewalks. If caught there is $100 dollar fine. The Iphone however if used as a phone or something other than music is ok. But if this law is passed mobiles will be the new target. Lawmakers may merge the laws in the begining but this is unlikely due to the need of cellphones.
Important notes:
This pertains to all mp3s not specificly I-pods

Most people use illegal downloads of music. Theres like millions of music torrents everywhere and file sharing with Limewire. Plenty of people use those methods.
-Who's idea was this anyway?
