I took the pointer tutorial at least 4 times now, and I can easily get it to work in the tutorial, but for some reason in this game called Tank Ball, using the Fire Fox browser, I can't get it right.

I find the value I want to hack. (Health)
I find out what writes the value
I found out what would probably be the pointer needed to find the address
I ticked the Hex box
I scanned for the pointer
Then no result showed up

I double checked everything, and like I said, it worked fine when I did it in the tutorial all 4 times.

Your starting health is 10, it goes down by 1 each time you get hit. Does anyone have an answer to why I can't get this to work?

This game is server sided, so using Cheat Engine period is out of the question. Your best bet would be to use something a bit more advanced callled Packet Sniffing. Be careful that this can be classified as illegal and if cought, will probly get you banned. You can use something like WPE Pro to get you started. You will need knollage of Hex encoding/decoding of values and also of packets.

Actually, the game is quite hackable with CE. God mode, infinite power shots, sped hack. It's all easy. As for pointers..its played ina browser...you aren't going to find any pointers. You'll have to re-find the addresses each time.
