well my computer is running slow after i reformatted and reinstalled windows here are my specs
intel Q9450
4gb crosair ram
BFG 8800 GTS
Windows XP home
160gb sata hard drive

got all the drivers installed yet im booting really slow before reformatting i booted much faster but i had to reformat cause some virus and i could remove

probley those ****ing updates

i do have a legit copy btw

hmm...ur computer specs look good, but the HDD is a bit small. however, i dont think that affects ur system.

with that computer, i wouldnt care about booting speed..

u did chek ur startup programs right?

Answer this: by booting slowly does it... sit at a blank screen for a while before actually continuing on?

well first the windows screen took awhile then welcome took awhile then it was just my background for awhile

I went and got a 500GB seagate harddrive and im running MUCH faster
