I'm trying to setup a LAN with private IP addresses, but I'm forced to use ISP's DHCP. Also, I don't want to use NAT. So, I'm wondering if Windows is capable of aliasing NICs? I mean that one NIC could have an IP address assigned by ISP's DHCP and another one assigned by either me(=static) or local DHCP(=dynamic).
Aliasing is supported on Linux, but I couldn't find out how to do this on Windows box without NAT. Well.. I guess here's yet another reason not to use Windows :p
Of course a VPN is one solution, but is it impossible to setup a "real" private network?
