How can i permanently do this?
I used Nvidia's setting manager thing and changed it to 800mhz... and it wouldn't stay when i restarted...
But i shall say that was a good thing, since i did attempt to overclock it to 900mhz and it could not function properly!
Also, all programs have to be linux sorry

sounds like you don't know what you're doing to begin with if you just upped it a shitload straight off. Especially since the card runs stock at 600, and is lucky to break 700 without volt modding. 800 or 900 is just asking to damage your hardware.
of course almost none of the tools you could use will run on linux naively so...
you could edit then flash the BIOS.

For making your overclocks permanent, you can flash your video card BIOS. I haven't done it before, and I don't know how you would do it on Linux.
