I am trying to memory hack an old Windows game: Glider 4.0. When I type the number of the lives into the search it doesn't find anything. Is there a special process to search for memory addresses in 16 bit process games?
Ok, well I chose the process ntvdm.exe and scanned it, but it's not working. Not sure exactly how that's related to my game but oh well.
My settings are:
Scan Type: Exact Value
Value Type: All (Byte to Double)
Memory Scan Options: All; Everything is unchecked.
Then if there is 3 lives I scan for a 3. Is that correct? Or am I supposed to multiply it by some constant to find the number? Much like how flash works with multiplied by 8. Does that apply for 16 bit games too?
