I would say start with the tutorial that came with the program. Finish that without any help. That would give you the basics to find addys in a game.
Copying others work wont help much at the end of the day. Everything should be done alone with help if needed. Thats the best way i learn to do anything. Practice and Patients (<-spelling?) is key i would say.

Well learn the in's and outs of the CheatEngine. Learn a programming language of your choice. But I suggest c++ or delphi.

Learning a language is not required to hack games.

Now it would be a good idea to learn one to write your own work instead of using trainer builders. But is not required to learn game hacking.

You can learn to use Cheat Engine or what ever memory scanner you wish.
Then also learn to use the Game Trainer Builders like Trainer Maker Kit or Game Trainer Studio. Also Cheat Engines trainer builder.

All you need to learn a little basic assembly, so you can alter the code used to make the cheat in the game by altering the assembly.
