|
|
When I start maplestory, I login and watever, and everything is working fine. But after like 2 mins my router stops working (Status and ADSL lights turn off), and I have to restart my router and wait for like 10 mins . And It keeps happening again and again, but when i'm in normal Internet like this, nothing happens...
My router is a D-link G624T
Can someone help me fix this?

It seems as if your router is broken. You can call customer support or just return/exchange it.

Ya...but while using the normal internet, you do not need constant access to the web, like maplestory. (in maplestory, you use the web the whole time, the internet it downloads the page content and displays it, connecting to the internet for just a brief period of time)
Just as v-Konstrukt said, your router is most likely broken. IT most likely cuts out at times.

I would suggest trying this:
Unplug everything and shut down computer.
Wait 10 seconds
Then try turning everything on and retry maple.

I suggest the same thing, but if that doesn't work, try a much longer period of time.
Turn modem/computer/router off and unplug the coax cable from the modem.
Maybe reset your IP. May fix your problem.
Also, on your router and modem, look for a tiny hole. Find a paper clip. Unrap it. Poke the paper clip in the hole. This will reset the router and modem! It works wonders for me.
