What do I have to do to make CE/ a trainer made by CE type in some codes?
A better way to say it, how do I make a trainer type in cheat codes?

I want to make a trainer for Freespace 2. To cheat, you have to enter "www.frespace2.com" ingame to enable cheats but if its enabled, you're not allowed to complete the level. Only way out is to disable the code before finishing the mission. So how can I make a trainer automatically type in the code when I press a certain key?

You will do scans for on/off on the cheats.

Scan for 1 for on
Scan for 0 for off

Once you find it, you will use the instructions in assembly or the bytes of them to make your cheat on or off.
Or use a pointer then use 1 or 0 to turn it on or off.

Thanks, Ill try that, but Im not sure if it'll work :\ I will reply with results.

P.S.-Hard luck. I managed to find out the hard way that the cheats can be enabled but not disabled through the code. Currently trying to find out the adress thru "Value not changed" setting. Anyone have any ideas?

USe a speed hack to slow that game down, when the cheat activate search for 1, when the cheat is finished do a next scan of 0

I did mention earlier, I cant disable cheats. No luck till now.

Try typing the cheat activation in again and it should disable it.
If not then they did this on purpose so you couldn't disable before next round Smile

But why bother with that, just activate the cheat.
Then find one of the cheats. Then when you look at what access's it you will have to look in the assembly and understand how the routine is doing it's work. There will be a check to see if cheats are enabled.

After this is found you can alter the function to think it is enabled every time and basically do these cheats with out typing in the activation.

Somebody on the internet surely knows how to activate/deactivate cheats if they can get cracks to play whole games ^.-

Ah yes, thanks a lot, I already figured it out, it wasnt DMA after all.

@labyrnth, As I said earlier, typing it twice does NOT disable it. And (for 2nd sentence), you're perhaps right, they made it such that if you cheat on a level, you cant resume the level if you dont compete the next level without cheating. Also, I didnt at all get the rest what you said :S. Im just new to CE Confused

@whaddyawant, I found a lotta trainers, but all of them suck and don't work. Like, a trainer that works only for a certain cracked release by a certain crack corporation.

Anyways, I got what I wanted, thanks for the support.
