How do I cheat?

I have tried hacking Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved and every timeI run a scan I get this message

What on earth am i doing wrong?

Note: This error message also occurs when I try to scan Insaniquarium Deluxe.

try to reinstall CE and see if it fixes the problem.

try running in only 1 cpu core.
Also, you could try the beta, I fixed 1 or 2 problems regarding scanning, but not all yet. But perhaps your lucky and this is the one.
