Hello, i'm new in this forum, but not new in hacking ^^ I'm not a Super hacker because i'm still learning (because as hacker i feel in need to learn, not to hack only).
However, here is my question: The first thing i ever do in a online game, is packet sending/sniffing/filtering, than i found CE, but later i knew that it is only on Client side, so, now i'm wondering: How can i make tham together?
I mean how can i hack on Server side lol XD
I readed the important topics on the top, as every forum i enter lol, and i found checksums... i didn't ever notice about them, but now i know what they are... So about the packets i must bypass those checksums, and that needs c++ , but the only thing that i can do with C++ is a simple calculator lol!
P.S.
I wondered since i was a baby: I can learn how to program a calculator because i found a guide, but how can i learn to program bypasses? I Never found the guides to c++ bypassing lul!!

You can't really do server side at your level...packet sniffing, just stick wit h that

packet sniffing should be excellent...
Sometimes you can find IP adresses on the web from servers.
You only need the ip to get through (as far as I know, cause I m only a noob, but studying myself for harmless purposes).

The server will drop the packets as it is considering them 'bad'.
You'll not do it by this method.
You lot, just like to say, "oh, do packet sniffing" coz its makes you sound knowledgeable or you don't know what else to suggest.
The reality is you haven't got any XP with it yourself.

Now, i ask that to all the forum in here: i know that to hack in server side i must learn a looooot of things, that you know, so please, if you bother to post what i must learn (because if you post at least what i must learn i can search by myself), at least post a link with a guide that shows what to learn and what to do... please, i'm hungry of knowledge ^^ Because, i hate programs done by the others, i want to hack by myself, and because of that i'm hungry of knowledge... Thanks to all of you.

Your question was sound, but you are now officially confused. Here....

And it doesn't matter how much you 'learn', if a variable is server-side there is nothing you can do about it. It will overwrite your client data, drop your packets or disconnect you... something similar to those lines.
Packet-sniffing is at best, only a small step above client-side memory editing. It requires knowledge of a packet editing program such as WPE-Pro for example. Even then you will be relying on the packets not getting encrypted, or know how to decrypt them.

At the end of the day does the wanted result outweigh the effort you put in? Especially when you consider that you might not ever be successful with it...
Just the reality of it fasims. Don't be put of, thats not what i'm trying to do here, i'm just been truthful.
When members like those above just say stuff like "packet editing will be useful", they don't know what they are talking about, have no experience with such things, and are simply relaying what other members have stated previously. They'll get you going in all sorts of directions if you continue to listen to statements like that. The wonderful world of CEF, learning how to seperate the crap from the useful....

Psych, i'm terrible sorry, but i'm not english, i can speak it as well, but i'm not a "master"... I understood most of the text,but not all... can you do a little post of what you sayd? I only understood that i must know to decript a packet, that i can do, but on the 2° paragraph i didn't understand anything, sorry...
However i understood that if a game is server sided i can't do nothing ^^

If your going to use packets you can look for something to exploit in the game using a packet.
It is hard to say what you have to exactly look for, just try things and se what the outcome of it is.

Example:
If you receive a item from the server for completing a quest or what ever.
You can try to send that packet back and see if you can get another of the same item or random ones if thats the case.
This is sort of a dupe method and works in some games.

But the key is to try it in several locations or places in game because, It could work in only one NPC or quest and not any of the others in the whole game.

So it is kinda trail and error till you find something useful.
This example method can be done without decrypting packets as well in some games.

Thanks Labyrinth, i'm doing that ^^ However i alredy tryied, that was the first thing i did with wpe pro, try for some bug as drop an item and drop for a lot of times, teleport, quest dupe, ecc... Thanks a lot ^^
And if i know how to decript a packet? i can do something else? As?
